You can enter the links below into an RSS feed reader application that runs
on your computer and downloads the headlines and links at intervals that you
specify. To get the links click on the "RSS" icons. There are many
freeware and shareware readers available for most operating systems.
The acronym "RSS" stands for "Really Simple Syndication".
An RSS feed, also known as a "news feed" is a time-saving way for
you to receive news and information updates, from your favorite Web sites without
having to visit the site.
How do I use RSS?
To start using RSS, you need "news reader" which is software that
lets you subscribe to RSS feeds. There are many different news readers available,
many of which are free. Many feed readers will pop-up a new window when a new
article is available, or are integrated into mail clients or web browsers. When
you are alerted of the new article, you can click on a link that will take you
directly to the article. Below are a few popular standalone applications or
Web-based options you may find useful.
Click the orange “RSS” button and drag and drop the icon into the
readers window. Ignore all the text on the page and drag or copy & paste
the URL link (in your browser’s Address bar) into your news reader, following
your particular news reader’s directions for adding a new feed or subscription.
